Blossom on the Poetree

We were as delighted as our resident Poetanists to see the blossom of the Poetree in April. We decided against sharing our delight with our readers then as the blossoms were under close investigation: our Poetanists insisted on a thorough scientific study of this new phenomenon. They claimed that the petals of the blossom were structurally and geometrically enigmatic and thus must be subject to rigorous scrutiny.

They have halted for the moment in this investigation and have given us permission to release an image to the public in the hope that it will inspire other Poetanists to join their study.  They are fascinated with this inscrutable flora and dearly hope to unravel some of its mystery.

Now we have the pleasure of presenting to you an image of the Poetree's beautiful April blossoms.
